  Day 1: PICK UP FROM AIRPORT

  Our English speaking driver-guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to Negombo, which is a few km from there. Rest the day at the hotel in Negombo after an exhausting flight journey.

  Day 2: DAMBULLA

  Hope you have recovered from jet-lag and ready to start the tour. You will be heading to Dambulla from Negombo. There, you will stop by the cave temple in Dambulla to sightsee its ancient wonders - See the statues, paintings and caves from the bygone era. Drive to the hotel in Dambulla after the cave temple visit.

  Day 3: SIGIRIYA – MINNERIYA – DAMBULLA

  On day 3 of the heritage and cultural tour in Sri Lanka, travelers will visit the ancient and sacred city, Polonnaruwa. The archaeological remains will give you a better idea of its appearance in the past. Explore everything from temples, tombs, Stupas, sculptures, ancient edifices, and man-made lakes. Then you will drive to the natural habitat packed with elephants called Minneriya national park. Enjoy watching elephants and other animals in the wild. Next, meet the Sigiriya lion rock fortress. Climb through the steep stairs to witness her inner splendor at each stop and catch a 360 view from the rock pinnacle. Finally, Drive to Dambulla and spend the night.

  Day 4: ANURADHAPURA – DAMBULLA

  Experience a whole day enriched with a cultural visit to Anuradhapura. Sight enormous brick temples, holy places, ancient ruins and unique ancient carvings built thousand years ago. Return to Dambulla to relax the remaining day.

  Day 5: DAMBULLA - KANDY

  Today’s agenda of the cultural holidays in Sri Lanka include a visit to Pidurangala rock. It is a few miles away from Sigiriya. Then go on a bullock cart ride to the nearest village and proceed to Kandy. Visit the spice garden and Koneswaram Hindu Kovil in Matale en route. Relax the night in Kandy.

  Day 6: KANDY

  Travel around Peradeniya Botanical garden and visit the temple of the tooth relic often called Sri Dalada Maligawa. Worship at the temple and witness the good looks of its royal palace. Watch the evening cultural show at the Kandy Lake Club. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kandy.

  Day 7: NUWARA ELIYA

  Head to Peradeniya railway station to reach Nanu Oya by train. Enjoy the surrounding hill country backdrop throughout the train trip. Upon entering Nanu Oya, trek through the tea trail to visit a tea factory and boost yourself with a cup of tea. Relax overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

  Day 8 TO 12: BENTOTA

  The coming days are going to be a long beach holiday beside the Bentota beach hotel. Witness the beach wherever you go. So, you have 5 days to get to know well about this laid back coastal town. Walk along the golden sandy strips, spot the sunset and sunrise, try your hands Jet skiing, windsurfing, mono-skiing, and go on banana boat rides, ride through Madu Ganga and wander in the brief garden. Spend and enjoy five nights in Bentota beach hotel overlooking the beach.

  Day 13: COLOMBO

  Here you are close by the end of heritage and cultural tour in Sri Lanka. So, enjoy the last day as best as possible. A journey in the Colombo city would be a great addition to sum up the heart of the country within a couple of hours. Travel to Galle Face Green, Pettah Bazaar, Floating market, independence square, shopping malls, and colorful parks and never miss delicious food. Relax the night at the hotel you are accommodating in Colombo.

  Day 14: COLOMBO - AIRPORT

  At the end of your cultural holidays in Sri Lanka, our driver will pick you from the accommodation in Colombo and drop at the airport. Have a safe trip!
